Senior Accountant / Future Team Leader – SMSF & Strategic AdviceAt MJC Partners, we're not looking for someone who wants to spend the next five years preparing tax returns and waiting for a promotion.We're looking for someone who wants to become a trusted adviser, build meaningful client relationships, develop leadership skills and play a significant role in the future of our SMSF division.This is an opportunity to work directly alongside one of Australia's leading SMSF specialists, attend strategic client meetings from day one, and accelerate your professional development in a way few firms can offer.About the RoleOur SMSF division manages approximately 400 funds and is a key part of our business.You'll initially join as a Senior Accountant and work closely with our leadership team across technical advice, client strategy, compliance review and relationship management.As your capability and confidence grow, you'll progressively take ownership of client relationships, mentor team members and develop into a future Team Leader.This is not a role where progression depends on someone retiring or moving on.We are actively building the future leadership structure of our SMSF division and are looking for people who want to be part of that journey.What You'll Be DoingReviewing SMSF compliance work and providing technical guidanceAttending strategic client meetings from day oneWorking with successful business owners, professionals and high-net-worth familiesAssisting with complex SMSF advice and strategy implementationDeveloping trusted adviser relationships with clientsResponding to technical client queriesSupporting and mentoring junior team membersContributing to continuous improvement within the divisionWhat Success Looks LikeOver time,
