Based in Melbourne's CBD, our venues host some of the world's most acclaimed live performances, productions, and events.We are seeking experienced Venue Presentation Leading Hands to join our Venue Presentation team on a casual basis, working across our Melbourne CBD venues.This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for leading cleaning teams and ensuring our venues are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation.
Working closely with the Venue Presentation Manager and Coordinator, Leading Hands play an important role in coordinating daily operations, supporting team members and ensuring venue presentation outcomes are achieved efficiently and consistently.About the RoleAs a Venue Presentation Leading Hand, you will lead and work alongside Venue Presentation team members, providing direction, support and quality oversight across a range of venue cleaning activities.Coordinating and allocating tasks to Venue Presentation team membersLeading by example and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentationMonitoring work quality and ensuring cleaning activities are completed efficiently and safelySupporting the training and development of new and existing team membersAssisting with stock control, equipment monitoring and venue presentation requirementsCommunicating regularly with the Venue Presentation Manager and Coordinator regarding staffing,



operational requirements and venue needsPromoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety proceduresAssisting with problem solving and responding to operational issues as they arise.The role remains actively involved in all aspects of venue cleaning and presentation, including auditorium, foyer, restroom and backstage areas, while also providing day‐to‐day leadership and support to the team.About YouYou are an experienced, reliable and motivated cleaning professional who enjoys working as part of a team and leading others to deliver great results.You will bring:Previous commercial cleaning or venue presentation experienceExperience supervising or leading a team, ideally within cleaning, hospitality, facilities, events or a similar environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standardsThe ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict timeframesSound organisational and problem‐solving skillsA positive, proactive and team‐focused approachFlexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, weekends and public holidays where required.First Aid qualifications, experience in workplace health and safety and experience training or mentoring staff will be highly regarded.Why Marriner Group?
