In your day-to-day, you will prepare and review financial and management reports, working closely with operational and finance leaders, to deliver insights to improve performance and support strategic decision making.This is a permanent full-time role based in our Rocklea, **** (Brisbane) office, with the option to occasionally work from home.What's on offerGenuine career development and progression opportunitiesExposure to a large, complex business with valuable and transferable experienceCollaborative, supportive and high-performing teamOn-site parking at our Rocklea officeFlexible working arrangements to support work-life balanceWhat you'll be responsible forPreparation and delivery of financial and management reports working closely with operational business partners and the Finance ManagerFinancial analysis and variance reporting, with a focus on understanding the operational drivers behind performanceBuild and maintain commercial models and profitability reviewsLead the opex-to-capex transfers, ensuring all project costs, internal labour, and directly attributable expenses strictly meet AASB 116 Property, Plant and Equipment recognition criteria.Own the annual budget process and ongoing forecasting activitiesAd hoc accounting and finance tasksWhat you'll need to be successfulTertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance,



or equivalent and significant accounting experienceMust be working towards completion of CA or CPA qualification (or qualified)Demonstrated experience within an accounting or financial analyst position with skills gained in a high volume and complex businessExperience with SAP, TM1, Gsuite and MS office is an advantageExperience in logistics or waste industries would be beneficial but not essentialWhy Veolia?
