About the RoleReporting to the CFO & Company Secretary, the Senior Financial Accountant will own the integrity of financial reporting, statutory compliance, tax and treasury across the business.
This is a hands-on role where you will prepare reports yourself, working within a small, newly formed and supportive finance team.The business is moving from an older version of MYOB to MYOB Acumatica, so you will play a key part in cleaning up processes, strengthening controls and building strong reporting foundations.Responsibilities:Prepare monthly, half-year and full-year financial reports, including all ASX reportingLead month-end and year-end close processesManage ASX and ASIC compliance obligations and continuous disclosure requirementsManage GST, FBT, PAYG and income tax compliance and lodgementsComplete regulatory forms and ABS surveysManage treasury, cash flow forecasting, banking facilities and covenant reportingManage leased, owned asset accounting,



fixed asset registers and depreciation schedulesCoordinate external audit activitiesSupport Board, Executive and company secretarial requirementsSupport inventory, reporting and fixed asset accountingAssist with capital expenditure analysis and business casesHelp implement MYOB Acumatica and improve finance processes and controlsAbout youThis would suit a Finance Manager level without direct reports, or a Senior Financial AccountantCA qualified or CPA qualifiedASX-listed reporting experience is essential - Must HaveStrong statutory reporting, technical accounting, tax and treasury knowledgeBig 4 background highly regardedRetail, manufacturing, or FMCG experience is a bonus but not required (as there is inventory performance and reporting)Hands-on, with the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environmentA team player who is committed to the role for the long term and will go the extra mile when deadlines call for itAdvanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systemsAvailable immediatelySix Degrees Executive acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live.
