This is your chance to utilise your experience and influence direction through your product lines while instilling your knowledge and guidance to the rest of the team.As part of the Design team, a Designer plays a pivotal role in contributing to the creative and strategic development of the brand's product offerings.The purpose of this role is to bring the brand aesthetic to life through innovative and trend-driven designs, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market demands.Key Accountabilities:Construct a commercially balanced range which offers the right mix of print, plain, and colour and present in CAD formLiaise with the Ladies Design Managers as well as Retail and Wholesale teams on product planningAnalyse & have a comprehensive understanding of category history applying this to the rangeAbility to conceptualise and direct in-house graphic artist on prints and yardagesEvaluate range performance by assessing weekly sales reports and attending monthly reviews,
taking learnings into future rangesComprehensive knowledge of local and overseas market trends through various mediumsAnalyse relevance of trends for brand and plan reaction accordinglyComplete thorough style tech packs, outlining garment specifications for PD teamWork with Product Developer to ensure best fit, consistency of fit and best possible quality of fabric, trim, make and finishBe aware of production progress against critical path ensuring key dates are met by the teamPresent ranges to sales team at seasonal range releaseCreate and work with studio team to execute photoshoot concepts and range book creationPotential opportunity to undertake inspiration and vendor trips where necessary.Ability to work in a team driven atmosphere with the ability to flex to personality styles and build strong working relationships internally & externally.Skills and Experience:Minimum 4 years industry experienceExcellent in Adobe Creative SuiteTertiary qualification in fashion design or relevantAbility to work in a rapid-paced environmentA creative and collaborative approach to the roleBENEFITSClose-knit teamFree On-Site ParkingFamily friendly working arrangementsPlease note: you will be required to provide a current police check before commencing employment.
