Century is one of Australia's leading entertainment businesses, with over 30 years of experience specialising in venue management, live events and touring, as well as artist representation.We operate and manage a wide array of Sydney's best live entertainment venues, including the iconic Enmore Theatre, Metro Theatre, The Comedy Store, The Concourse, Manning Bar, Darling Quarter Theatre and The Mighty Vic in Newcastle.The producing arm, Century Entertainment, present a range of major events, tours and festivals across Australia throughout the year, with a particular focus on live comedy.The Role:As an integral member of the Century Entertainment team, the Touring Co-ordinator will be working under the direction of the Tour Producers to facilitate the successful delivery of events and tours by providing support across all aspects of the event including ticketing, logistics, event delivery & marketing.The role, based in Sydney, is an exciting opportunity to start a career in the live comedy and touring industry.What You'll Be Doing:Ticketing: Setting up ticketing with venues and managing inventory of sales, holds and guest-listsLogistics: Booking and managing accommodation, flights and ground transport for tours, including itinerary managementMarketing: Setting up and monitoring social media campaigns and booking various marketing initiativesEvent Delivery: Assist, where needed,



with on-ground event delivery throughout the year including show running for Century's various comedy nights, including the Sydney Comedy Festival Regional Showcase Tour.What We're Looking For:Strong organisation: Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, follow processes, and manage large volumes of work in a fast-paced environmentClear communication: Strong written and verbal skillsStrong computer literacy: With experience using the full Microsoft SuiteStrong work ethicFlexibility: Willingness to work evenings and weekends as requiredAbility to interpret and work within budgetsProblem-solving and adaptabilityHighly Desirable Skills:At least 2 years working in live events or similar administrative roleKnowledge of live events (particularly comedy)Knowledge and understanding of event ticketingExperience in event marketing, including sound knowledge of online and social marketingA basic understanding of staging, technical requirements of performance, including sound and lighting requirementsAdditional Benefits:Opportunities for career development and career advancementOpportunities to travel interstate and to other comedy festivalsA cooperative and creative working environmentAccess to attend live events across the Century Group
