We're looking for a curious, enthusiastic and hands-on NPD Food Technologist to join our Marketing & Innovation team and learn what it takes to turn an idea into a product that can be successfully manufactured at scale.You'll work alongside our Innovation team and collaborate with Production, Quality, Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain, giving you genuine exposure to the full product development journey.Key responsibilitiesWith support and development from the team, you'll:Assist with the development of recent products from concept through to commercialisationGet hands-on in the kitchen completing bench trials, recipes and product samplesSupport factory trials and learn how products transition from benchtop to full-scale productionResearch and trial recent ingredients, concepts and emerging food trendsHelp evaluate recipes and identify opportunities to improve quality, cost and production feasibilityMaintain accurate trial, recipe and traceability documentationWork closely with Production, Quality, Marketing, Sales and Supply ChainLearn our Stage Gate NPD process and how successful food products are brought to marketContribute ideas and bring your own creativity to new product development.Why Join Us?

We're looking for potential, curiosity and a genuine passion for food.Minimum Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field.A genuine interest in new product development and food manufacturingConfidence getting hands-on with recipes, ingredients and product trialsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsGood communication skills and the confidence to work with different teamsA practical, curious approach to solving problemsA willingness to learn, ask questions and give things a goAn understanding of food safety, HACCP or quality systems through your studies would be an advantagePrevious food manufacturing experience is welcome, but it isn't essential.
