The OpportunityAn established commercial construction business is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support its growing portfolio of projects.
Working across both the office and active construction sites, you will partner with project teams to maintain high standards of health, safety, setting and quality.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, improving systems and helping site teams achieve practical compliance outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Site Managers and project teams with all HSEQ requirementsConduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviewsAssist with project-specific safety, environmental and quality plansReview SWMS, risk assessments, permits and subcontractor documentationInvestigate incidents, identify root causes and manage corrective actionsCoordinate inductions, toolbox talks and HSEQ trainingMonitor compliance with company systems, legislation and client requirementsMaintain HSEQ registers,
reports and project documentationSupport continuous improvement across the company's integrated management systemPromote a positive and proactive safety culture across all projectsAbout YouMinimum five years' experience in an HSEQ or safety roleDemonstrated experience working on commercial construction projectsStrong understanding of Victorian health and safety legislationRelevant qualifications in WHS, OHS, environmental management or a related disciplineWorking knowledge of ISO *****, ISO ***** and ISO **** is highly regardedConfident communicating with site teams, subcontractors and senior managementStrong reporting, investigation and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesCurrent driver's licenceWhat's on OfferA varied role combining office and site responsibilitiesExposure to a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projectsSupportive management team with a genuine commitment to HSEQLong-term career development within an established builderCompetitive salary package based on experience
