We're partnering with a well-established business in Epping that is seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join their finance team.This opportunity is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting who is looking to further develop their skills.
You'll bring strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a desire to build a long-term career in finance.
Working closely with a friendly and experienced team, you'll gain hands‐on exposure across accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, month‐end support, and broader financial reporting.Please note this role is 5 days in the office.What you'll be doing:Assisting with day‐to‐day accounting tasks and basic bookkeepingProcessing invoices,
reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial recordsSupporting the finance team with month‐end tasks and general reportingUpdating and maintaining financial data with strong accuracy and attention to detailWorking collaboratively with internal stakeholders and supporting ad‐hoc finance duties as requiredWhat we're looking for:Completed degree in Accounting, Finance or a related fieldStrong attention to detail and willingness to learnBasic bookkeeping or exposure to financial processes (university, internship or work experience)Good Excel skills and confidence working with numbersExperience with Xero is highly regardedA positive attitude, strong work ethic and interest in developing your accounting careerWhat's on offer:Adaptable working arrangements regarding start and finish timeFree parking onsiteA supportive team that will mentor and develop youExposure to a variety of accounting tasks and genuine career progression opportunities
