About the Role
We work with people under the age of 65 in order to help them reach their goals.
Achieving these goals is accomplished by:
Conducting home environment assessments and assisting with major and minor home modificationsProvidingtherapy services to participants whilst building on their strengths and developing sustainable long term solutions to complex needsAccessing andprescribing standard and complex equipmentRecommendations forvehicle modificationsFunctional assessments of occupational performance and development of therapy plans to promote daily living skillsAssessing a clients support needs and assisting them with transitioning to supported independent living
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
Proficient communication and organizational skillsThe ability to think creatively, think outside the box and rise to a challengeDemonstrates efficiency and competence withoccupational therapy processes and frameworksExperience in Complex Home Mods will be highly valued
