About the role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Mechanical Trade Assistant to join our team at our Aubigny Site.
This is an excellent chance for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with tools and machinery and is looking to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment.
Full training will be provided to the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with assembling mechanical components of attachments and other various products as per production schedule and as directed by supervisor.Assist with detecting, diagnosing and fault finding as required under supervision.Carry out necessary checks as per specifications.Communicate with Supervisor regarding any parts/machining discrepancies, which need to be corrected immediately.Clocks jobs through company system.Assist qualified/ trained employees in their tasks including supplying/ holding materials or tools.Mechanical aptitude and an interest in working with machinery, equipment, and toolsPrevious experience in a workshop, manufacturing, agricultural, mechanical, labouring, or trade environment highly regarded but not essentialAbility and willingness to learn mechanical assembly and production processesConfidence using hand and power tools,



or the ability to learn quicklyStrong attention to detail and pride in producing quality workGood time management skills and a positive attitudeReliable with a strong work ethicPhysically fit and able to perform manual tasks and be on your feet throughout the dayAbility to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a teamCapability to learn new skills and progressively work independentlyReliable transportationForklift licence advantageous but not essential
