You will complete visual and dimensional checks, use precision measuring equipment and maintain accurate quality-control records.The position would suit someone with previous experience in quality inspection, engineering or manufacturing.
Candidates must have excellent attention to detail and be confident checking components against the required specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out visual inspections of manufactured parts and componentsChecking products for damage, defects and manufacturing faultsCompleting accurate dimensional checks using precision measuring equipmentUsing micrometers, vernier callipers and other inspection toolsChecking components against drawings,



specifications and quality standardsRecording inspection results clearly and accuratelyCompleting basic quality-process paperwork and inspection documentationIdentifying and separating non-conforming componentsReporting quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor or managerSupporting investigations into recurring defects and production issuesLiaising with manufacturing teams to resolve quality-related queriesEnsuring measuring equipment is handled, stored and maintained correctlyKeeping the inspection area clean, organised and safeFollowing company quality procedures and health and safety requirementsSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience in quality inspection, engineering or manufacturing would be advantageousExperience using micrometers and vernier callipersConfidence using a range of measuring and inspection equipmentAbility to identify visible defects and dimensional inaccuraciesAbility to understand basic engineering drawings or specificationsGood numerical skills and a methodical approach to checking componentsExcellent attention to detailAbility to complete quality paperwork accuratelyGood communication and problem-solving skillsA reliable approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamWhat's on Offer?
