Allied Health Professionals Enterprise Agreement- Grade 1 or 2 (VA3 - VB4), $******** - $******** per hourAn exciting opportunity has arisen for physiotherapists to provide skilled physiotherapy services at WGHG on a casual basis including weekend work.
Services will be provided primarily at the hospital site across the acute wards, subacute, outpatients and community rehabilitation.
The position requires a demonstrated capacity to work effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
The Physiotherapist accepts responsibility for, and maintains commitment to, personal and professional development.
We offer a friendly, team focused work workplace and comprehensive orientation to the department and organization.Preferred Candidate RequirementsDegree in PhysiotherapyFull registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation AgencyEligibility for membership of the Australian Physiotherapy AssociationA thorough understanding and respect for confidentiality requirements.Additional Experience & Knowledge Considered AdvantageousExperience in a hospital or acute setting.Knowledge of privacy legislation and document control.Knowledge of issues relevant to regional/rural areas.Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and ExcelIMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies).
