Food Service Attendant Position - Residential Aged CareHolloway Aged Care Services is seeking a Food Service Attendant to join our residential aged care facility in Keilor East.
This is a casual position that plays a vital role in ensuring our residents receive excellent meal service and dining experiences.
As a Food Service Attendant, you will be responsible for food preparation support, meal service, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards.
Your work will directly contribute to the wellbeing and satisfaction of our residents, making this a meaningful role within our care community.Key responsibilitiesAssisting with food preparation including chopping, mixing, and portioning ingredients under the guidance of kitchen staffSetting up and clearing dining areas and tables for meal servicesDelivering meals to residents' rooms or communal dining areas in a timely and professional mannerAssisting residents with dining requirements where appropriate and ensuring their comfort during mealsMaintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulationsWashing, sanitising and storing kitchen equipment, utensils and crockerySupporting the preparation of special dietary meals as required by individual resident needsAssisting with stock rotation and proper food storage proceduresSupporting the kitchen team in general duties to ensure smooth daily operationsReporting any food safety concerns or resident feedback to senior staff membersWhat we're looking forPrevious experience in food service,
