You'll support elderly clients in their homes with a range of tasks that promote comfort, wellbeing, and independence, including:Personal care such as showering, dressing and personal hygieneMeal preparation and domestic cleaningSocial support and companionshipShopping assistance and transportAdditional care needs such as fitting and removing pressure stockings, respite support, and assistance with medication (where required)This role is offered on a part time basis working 30 hours per fortnight across the Eastern suburbs of Perth.
These areas include (but not limited to) Ballajura, Noranda, Bassendean, Guilford/South Guildford, Kalamunda, Mundaring, Aveley, Herne HillThe roster is as below, please note you will need to be able to commit to all hours of the roster advertised for your application to be consideredWeek 1 and Week 2 - Monday to Friday 9:00am to 2:00pmAbout YouYou're someone who genuinely enjoys helping others and understands the importance of empathy, respect, and independence in aged care.
You are comfortable working independently, confident driving clients, and committed to providing thoughtful, person-centred support.You may already have experience in aged care or community services or you might bring valuable lived experience through caring responsibilities.
