Our expanding company with over 40 year experience located in Collingwood is looking for an enthusiastic 1st year apprentice to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is interested in learning all areas of locksmithing including domestic, commercial and automotive.
Duties will involve
Interacting with customers in our shop frontTaking phone calls and email enquiries from customers and booking jobsCutting keys, repairing and assembling locksGeneral bench work in our workshopOrdering and unpacking stock
The successful candidate will
Well presented with a positive attitudeAble to communicate well with customers and work matesInterested in working with their handsBe punctual and honestEnjoy working in a team workplace and be self-motivate with a good work ethicExperience in customer service would be well regarded
Position overview
This is a full time position - Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm located in Collingwood.
You will be required to successfully complete Certificate 3 in Locksmithing at Melbourne Polytechnic during the apprenticeship
This position would be ideal for a school leaver
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
