Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll assist with the preparation and reporting of the organisation's financial information for internal management purposes and key external stakeholders.
You'll be responsible for a range of accounting activities including inter-entity transactions, reconciliations, GST, accounts payable and receivable, monthly profitability analysis and month-end procedures.

review and report on GST obligationsReview and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgersAnalyse monthly profitability and balance sheet movementsIdentify and investigate unusual financial variances and trendsPerform month-end accounting procedures and assist with closing the accounting booksAssist with other accounting duties as required by the businessCandidate ProfileYou will ideally have previous experience in a similar accounting position or within a mid-to-large accounting practice with property experience.
Experience using Xero is required, along with a Bachelor degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
You'll ideally hold a CA or CPA qualification, or be currently studying towards CA or CPA.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a busy environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
