About the role
Are you an experienced insurance professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, finding solutions and making insurance easier for customers?
Rapid Solutions is looking for an Insurance Broker to join our team and manage, grow and develop a portfolio of clients across general insurance in a niche industry sector spanning all States and Territories in Australia.
You'll work closely with clients to understand risks, arrange appropriate cover and deliver a high level of service throughout the life of each policy.
What you'll be doing
Manage a portfolio of new and existing clients, including quotes, renewals, claims and policy changesIdentify client needs and risk exposures and recommend appropriate insurance solutionsPrepare and present quotes, proposals and renewal documentationNegotiate appropriate terms and pricingBuild strong client,



insurer and referrer relationshipsUse consultative sales techniques to convert leads and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunitiesProactively manage renewals and client retentionSupport clients through the claims process and advocate on their behalfMaintain accurate client records and documentation in line with regulatory and compliance requirementsWork collaboratively with internal teams
About you
We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, client-focused and confident navigating the general insurance environment.
You'll bring:
Demonstrated experience of 5 or more years in general insurance brokerageA Tier 1 General Insurance qualification (RG 146 compliant) and eligibility to be appointed as an Authorised RepresentativeStrong knowledge of general insurance products, policy wordings and underwriting principlesExcellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skillsStrong organisation and time management skillsConfidence managing a portfolio and working to deadlinesIntermediate Microsoft Office and insurance/broking systems experience

A strong track record across sales, conversion and retentionStrong questioning and fact-finding skills to uncover client needsExperience supporting clients through the claims process
