front-end contract drafting through to back-end claims managementActing for insurers and insureds on contract works, property and ISR insurance claimsAdvising on first party insurance matters including fire, flood and major loss eventsAdvising on construction contracts, procurement strategy and front-end documentationAdvice under security of payment legislationMentoring junior lawyers within the teamAbout You- Admitted to practise in NSW- Experience in construction litigation, construction disputes, commercial litigation, or insurance (contract works, property, ISR or first party)- Strong dispute resolution skills: litigation, arbitration, adjudication or mediation- Fire, flood or major loss claims experience an advantage- Working knowledge of security of payment legislation desirable- Strong communicator, comfortable managing competing priorities in a team environmentAdditional informationLandmark construction & insurance matters, national scaleDirect mentoring from senior partners, real autonomySydney CBD base, flexible work, genuine path to partner
