Alchemy Recruitment Consulting – Gold Coast QLDAlchemy Recruitment is partnering with a state government client to support them in recruiting for a Senior Advisor (Illegal Camping & Declarations) to join their Land Management and Corridor Management team in Nerang on an initial 6-month contract.About the rolePay rate of $***** to $***** per hour + super6-month contract starting 2 November ****, with possible extensionFull time, 37.5 hours per week, based in NerangManage illegal camping and other unauthorised access, use and activity on state-controlled roads and land across the Gold Coast, Logan and Scenic RimCoordinate compliance action from start to finish, including establishing legal grounds, arranging site visits with police and outreach services, and organising clean-ups and towingPrepare compliance notices, Human Rights Compatibility Assessments and cultural heritage referralsUndertake state-controlled road declaration processes and advise on complex land and corridor mattersPrepare briefs, memos, reports and correspondence,



and maintain accurate records and registersPreferred RequirementsExperience in regulatory compliance, enforcement, land management or road corridor management within governmentAbility to interpret and apply legislation, policy and procedure to complex, real-world situationsStrong written skills across briefing notes, reports and formal correspondenceConfidence coordinating multiple stakeholders, including police, outreach services and contractorsSelf-directed, well organised and able to manage competing timeframes across multiple mattersSound judgement and a respectful approach when working with vulnerable members of the communityExperience with road declarations, the Transport Infrastructure Act or the Human Rights Act (highly regarded)Preferred QualificationsTertiary qualification in law, planning, property, environmental management, public administration or a related field, or equivalent experienceAbility to undergo a criminal history check
