Williamstown Football Club – Williamstown VICThis role will consist of providing Williamstown Football Club with medical support and assist in the coordination of the overall department.Key Responsibilitiesliaise with Physio's regarding the injury status of players throughout the weekProvide players treatment as requiredAssist with Players requiring referrals to specialists, imaging or collecting scripts and adviseMaintain database as prescribed by the Club of ALL player treatmentsWork with other Medical Staff and Coaching StaffLiaise with GM-Football with any other player issuesAssist GM-Football for any medical claims under Medicare and / or Marsh InsuranceUnderstand, and abide by Sport Integrity Australia's Code of Conduct and Rules in relation to prohibited substancesPre-Season:Attend at least one training per week to oversee any ongoing issues and "be on call as readily as possible"In-Season:Provide a written medical plan following matches to assist Medical Staff which ensures the efficiency of the medical department and priorities the requirements of playersAttend one night training per week per program to assess and treat players as requiredAttend the weekly online Medical and High Performance department meetingProvide explicit and concise feedback when required to the Coaching Staff as to why a particular player has been deemed either eligible or ineligible to playIn conjunction with the Head Physiotherapist and High Performance Manager collaborate on the weekly injury list and medical update to the General Manager and Head CoachAttend Match Day's as fixtured to assess and treat players as requiredConduct end of season medical screening on ALL listed players in conjunction with the Head Physio of each programAccreditationBachelor of Medicine/Surgery/ Medical Science or equivalent (copy to be held on Club file)Unrestricted registration with APRHABasic First Aid / CPR (copy to be held on Club file)Own Indemnity Insurance (copy to be held on Club file)Working with Children's Check (copy to be held on Club file)
