Sponsorship is not offered for this roleMinimum 3 years' experience as in a F&B; Leadership role with an international luxury hotel chain, with demonstrated success managing multiple F&B; concepts and operations.Technical knowledge of drinks including: Wine, spirits, cocktails, beer, sake, Japanese whisky, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, and moreOperational skills including: Cocktail preparation, wine service, stock controlKnowledge and understanding of financial knowledge, such as inventory, costs, expenses,



and all cash handling procedures and policiesDriven for Results; setting high standards of performance for self and others; assumes responsibility for work objectives; initiating and monitoring progress towards accomplishment goals; proactively acts and goes above and beyondProven track record in revenue optimization and P&L; management, with ability to analyse financial data to implement strategic improvements and increase departmental profitabilityStrong leadership qualities with experience developing and mentoring diverse teams, implementing training programs, and fostering a culture of excellence in guest serviceExpert knowledge of food and beverage trends, innovative menu development, and premium wine/spirits curation specific to the Australian luxury hospitality market, supported by relevant industry certificationsExperience working with Brand standards and Luxury Quality auditsConfidence engaging with guests, and leading and working as part of a teamEmbody a polished professionalism with an audacious approach to creativity; and to be a playful individual who is passionate in creating memorable guest experiencesA Glance At What You Will DoThe Beverage Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the beverage function across W Melbourne, driving beverage revenue, profitability, innovation and service excellence across all hotel venues and beverage touchpoints.Develop and execute a hotel-wide beverage strategy that maximises revenue and delivers distinctive beverage experiences aligned to the individual identity of each venue.The role is commercially focused and highly guest-facing, combining revenue generation, beverage innovation, cost management, inventory control, supplier relationships, training and staff developmentEnsure that beverage is treated as a significant commercial driver of the hotel's overall F&B; performance, rather than simply an operational support functionEstablish menu development processes including: Concept, Recipe development, Costing, Pricing, Testing, Photography, Menu design, Staff training,
