We are seeking an Accountant who enjoys partnering with operational leaders, contributing to project performance, and helping drive better business decisions across our Projects & Operations business.Working closely with Project Managers and the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in project forecasting, cost-to-completion reporting, commercial analysis and financial planning across our operations.

reconciliations and compliance activitiesBusiness partnering with operational leadersSustainability reporting and continuous process improvementAbout YouYou are a commercially minded accountant who enjoys working closely with stakeholders across the business and influencing decision‐making.To be successful in this role, you'll have:Experience in project accounting, management accounting or commercial finance within project‐based industries will be highly regarded.Degree‐qualified in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related disciplineCPA or CA qualified (or working towards completion), preferred but not essentialExperience in management accounting, project accounting, or commercial financeStrong budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis capability, with excellent attention to detailA commercially minded approach, with the ability to communicate financial information to stakeholders across the business and ideally experience in a project‐based industryAbout HiwayHiway is a leader in recycling and reuse, delivering low‐carbon pavement solutions across Australasia.
