Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training)About The RoleWe're looking for electrical engineering experts to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models.
Your deep technical knowledge will directly shape how AI reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to signal processing — making a real impact on the next generation of intelligent systems. This is a fully remote, adaptable contract role.
You set your schedule and work as much or as little as suits you, between 10 and 40 hours per week.Organization: AlignerrType: Hourly ContractLocation: RemoteCommitment: ***** hours/weekWhat You'll DoDesign challenging problems across core EE domains — circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, electromagnetics, VLSI, and control systems — that push AI models to their limitsAuthor gold-standard solutions with rigorous, step-by-step technical reasoning that AI uses as a benchmark for learningAudit AI-generated outputs including circuit diagrams, mathematical proofs, and code for technical accuracy, safety, and compliance with engineering standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.)Identify and correct reasoning failures in AI responses,
providing structured feedback that improves how the model thinks through engineering challengesWork asynchronously and independently on your own schedule — no meetings requiredWho You ArePursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related fieldStrong foundational knowledge in one or more of: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, embedded systems, or RF engineeringAble to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and precisely in written formDetail-oriented with a high level of precision when working with equations, circuit logic, and technical documentationSelf-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, async environmentNo prior AI experience requiredNice to HaveExperience with data annotation, technical writing, or evaluation systemsFamiliarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB, SPICE, or similarBackground in engineering standards bodies or standards-compliant designWhy Join UsWork on genuinely cutting-edge AI projects alongside world-leading research teamsFully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, from anywhereFreelance autonomy with the substance of meaningful, high-impact technical workGet rare, hands-on exposure to how advanced large language models are trained and evaluatedPotential for ongoing work and contract extension
