This is a 3-month contract position based in Wetherill Park, providing accounting services to support the client's construction business.Key responsibilitiesMonth end closure and accounts payable and receivableMaintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all transactions are properly recordedPreparing monthly accounts and cashflow statementsPreparing invoices and BAS statements for review by external accounting firmProcessing payroll and superannuationMaintaining the fixed asset registerAttending to ad hoc finance and administration mattersAbout youIdeally 10 years accounting experienceStrong preference for experience in construction and property sectors with understanding of sector finance nuancesProficiency in XeroDegree qualified with CA/CPA qualificationSelf-starting with excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work with colleagues and managementAbout usA leading construction company with a focus on delivering quality projects for clients in commercial construction, tenancy work and providing retail and construction solutions.
