Nordex Doors & Panels – Fairfield East NSWNordex Doors & Panels | Fairfield East, NSW | Full TimeNordex Doors & Panels is looking for an experienced Fire Door & Frame Estimator / Scheduler to join our team in Fairfield East.This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in the door, frame, hardware, joinery or commercial construction industry who is confident reading architectural drawings, preparing estimates and turning awarded projects into accurate production schedules.The RoleYou will be responsible for:Reviewing architectural drawings, door schedules and specificationsEstimating fire-rated doors, frames and associated productsPreparing take-offs and pricing for commercial projectsReviewing door sizes, fire ratings, frame requirements and hardwarePreparing and maintaining door and frame schedulesLiaising with builders, project managers, suppliers and our internal teamReviewing revisions and variations throughout a projectChecking documentation before projects move into productionAssisting with project handover from estimating through to manufacturingCoordinating information required for purchasing, production and deliveryIdentifying missing or conflicting information in drawings and specificationsAbout YouIdeally,



you will have experience in one or more of the following areas:Fire doors and fire-rated door systemsPressed metal or steel door framesArchitectural doors and framesDoor hardwareConstruction estimating or schedulingYou should also have:Robust ability to read architectural drawings and specificationsStrong numerical and measurement skillsGood Excel and general computer skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesClear communication with customers, suppliers and production teamsA practical understanding of how construction documentation translates into manufactured productsExperience with fire-rated doors and frames is highly regarded, but we would also consider someone with strong door, frame, hardware or commercial construction estimating experience who is willing to expand their knowledge.What We OfferFull-time position based in Fairfield East, NSWEstablished Australian door manufacturing environmentVariety of commercial projectsHands-on involvement from estimating through to productionOpportunity to develop your knowledge of fire doors, frames and specialised door systemsSupportive, practical team environment
