As a Kitchen Hand at Guardian, you'll play an important role in helping young children grow and thrive through nutritious meals and snacks prepared in a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.Working alongside our Centre Chef, you'll support the preparation and serving of delicious, healthy food for children and Educators.

cleanliness, and hygieneEnsuring kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas are clean and organisedSupporting individual dietary, allergy, cultural, and medical requirementsBuilding positive relationships with children, educators, families, and the wider centre communityContributing to children's health, wellbeing, and positive food experiences each dayTo be considered, you will have:Previous experience in a kitchen, hospitality, food service, or childcare workplace (desirable)Food Handling Certificate and/or Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable)Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practicesAn awareness of your personal responsibilities under current Child Protection LawsCurrent Working with Children's Check or state equivalentGuardian Childcare & Education values diversity in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
