About the Role
We are looking for motivated Domestic Cleaners to join our Disability Services team and provide cleaning supportservices to NDIS participants within residential settings.
The successful candidate will perform household cleaning tasks whilemaintaining a respectful, participant-focused, and professionalapproach.
This role requires attention to detail, reliability,



and theability to work independently across different participant homes.
Key Responsibilities
Domestic Cleaning
Perform household cleaning tasks including:
MoppingDustingBathroom cleaningSurface sanitisationMaintain clean and hygienic household environments for participants
Household Upkeep
Assist with general household organisation and tidinessSupport laundry and linen-related household tasks where requiredMaintain safe and clean living spaces aligned with participant needs
Participant Interaction
Communicate professionally and respectfully with participantsMaintain participant privacy, dignity, and confidentialityPromote a positive and respectful service experience
Safety and Compliance
Follow secure cleaning procedures and workplace health and safety practicesUse cleaning equipment and products safely and appropriatelyEnsure services align with organisational standards andparticipant expectations
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain records of completed services where requiredReport hazards, concerns, or maintenance issues identified duringservice deliveryFollow organisational reporting and incident procedures
Requirements
Previous experience in domestic cleaning or housekeepingStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleaning standardsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyProfessional and respectful approach when working withinparticipant homesExperience working within the NDIS, disability services, orcommunity care sectorExperience cleaning within residential or support environmentsUnderstanding of participant-centred service deliveryBasic understanding of infection control and safe cleaning procedures
