You'll serve food and beverages in our hotel and dining venue.What you'll doSet up tables and arrange seating for customersTake food and beverage ordersRecommend and suggest menu items to customersClear tables and keep the dining area clean and presentableHandle customer enquiries and resolve issues or complaintsTake payment from customersStock and replenish supplies and inventory as neededFollow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, hygienic work environmentAbout youA minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Waiter or Food and Beverage Attendant in a dining or similar environmentA high level of English, both spoken and written, so you can communicate effectively with staff, suppliers and customersStrong communication and customer service skillsThe ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced team environmentKnowledge of food and beverage service standards and proceduresProfessional presentation and attention to detailThe ability to handle customer feedback and resolve issues effectivelyAn understanding of hygiene and workplace health and safety standardsQualificationsAQF Certificate II or III in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Service, or at least one year of relevant experience in place of formal qualificationsAdditional on-the-job training or relevant certifications (such as RSA) may be required
