Through advanced knowledge of Learning Abroad and outbound mobility funding administration this position manages complex operational, compliance and strategic challenges to enhance student participation and experience.
Stakeholder engagement and management is a crucial for this role working collaboratively with the Senior Manager, Global Learning, Deakin International colleagues, faculties, Work Integrated Learning (WIL) teams, academic and professional staff, and external partners to support the development, funding and delivery of global learning opportunities.
This role leads the outbound mobility team and service delivery across global learning programs with responsibility for the management of day to day escalations.

As the Global Lead (Outbound and Funding), you will: Analyse complex issues and negotiate effective solutions with stakeholders Lead initiatives and drive improvement in processes and practices Influence and support change across teams and functions Provide expert advice aligned to organisational priorities,



policies and stakeholder needs Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture through coaching, development and leadership Apply innovation and learning to improve outcomes, services and work practices To be successful, you'll have: Postgraduate qualifications or extensive relevant experience and management expertise Demonstrated experience and ability to lead complex international education programs and partnerships.
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships and influence a broad range of stakeholders.
Proven leadership capability in team development Strong analytical, problem-solving and strategic capability.
Sound knowledge of the student mobility sector and relevant legislation, policies and funding frameworks.
