Shift Electrician | PGH Bricks | Cecil Park NSWJoin one of Australia's most recognised manufacturing businesses and help keep our operations running safely, efficiently and reliably.About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Shift Electrician to join our maintenance team at our Cecil Park manufacturing facility.
This is a hands‐on role within a 24/7 production environment, working across a rotating roster of day, afternoon and night shifts.
You'll play a critical role in maintaining and improving plant reliability while supporting a strong safety-first culture.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work alongside a collaborative team of electricians, fitters, apprentices and maintenance professionals responsible for keeping a large‐scale brick manufacturing operation running efficiently.ResponsibilitiesPerform planned, preventative and breakdown electrical maintenance across site equipmentDiagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtimeSupport plant reliability and continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and corrective actionsDesign, install and commission small‐to‐medium electrical projectsMaintain accurate maintenance records and SAP work ordersEnsure all work is completed in accordance with site procedures, WHSE standards and permit systemsCollaborate closely with production, mechanical and engineering teamsContribute to a positive team culture and support the development of apprentices and peersAbout YouEssentialCurrent NSW Electrical LicenceElectrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing,



industrial or production environmentStrong fault‐finding and troubleshooting capabilityExperience working with PLC‐controlled equipmentAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematicsStrong commitment to safety, quality and complianceEffective communication and teamwork skillsHighly RegardedExperience with PLC and SCADA programming or modificationKnowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systemsExperience with SAP or CMMS maintenance systemsRoot Cause Analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement experienceExperience in heavy manufacturing, building products, brick, cement, quarry, steel, food or FMCG environmentsWhat We OfferWe strive to support your professional and personal growth.
