We're looking for an experienced Plant Mechanic / Field Service Technician to service, maintain and repair a diverse range of heavy plant and equipment.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified mechanic with a background in mobile plant, heavy diesel or mechanical equipment who enjoys hands‐on technical work, fault‐finding and a mix of workshop and field service duties.
The role also involves occasional interstate travel, with travel expenses and accommodation covered.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out scheduled servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of plant and equipmentDiagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faultsResponding to equipment breakdowns and completing repairs onsite and in the workshopInspecting equipment to identify faults and ensure safe,



reliable operationPerforming preventative maintenance to minimise equipment downtimeTravelling to customer sites when required to complete servicing and repairsMaintaining accurate service records and ensuring work is completed to a high standardWhat You'll NeedCertificate III in Mobile Plant, Heavy Diesel, Engineering or a related mechanical tradePrevious experience servicing and repairing plant, heavy machinery or similar mechanical equipmentStrong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skillsUnderstanding of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel interstate periodically, including overnight staysReliable, safety-conscious approach with strong problem-solving skillsCurrent driver's licenceMust be able to pass a pre-employment medical assessmentWhy Work With Us?
