This role is based in a convenient Western Sydney location and focuses on delivering financial leadership and ensuring operational efficiency.Our client is a well-established industrial manufacturing and distribution business with annual revenue of approximately $65 million and a solid reputation for quality, customer service and operational excellence.
With a growing APAC footprint and a complex inventory-driven environment, the business is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join them and be a key partner in their ambitious growth plans.
This is a highly visible role that will partner closely with the CEO and the senior leadership team, providing commercial insight, strengthening governance and driving financial performance across the organisation.DescriptionAs Head of Finance, you will lead the finance function while acting as a trusted adviser to the leadership team and the business.
They are seeking a commercially minded finance leader who can provide strategic & operational insight, challenge decision-making where required and drive improved business outcomes.
You will also assume Company Secretary responsibilities, ensuring robust governance, compliance and reporting frameworks are maintained across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the CEO and leadership team to support strategic decision making and business growthDeliver timely monthly flash reporting, management accounts and board reportingLead annual budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning processesManage statutory reporting and year-end audit processes, acting as the primary liaison with external auditorsStrengthen governance,



financial controls and capital expenditure approval processesProvide commercial insights around profitability, working capital and business performanceLead foreign exchange management across multiple currencies, taking a proactive approach to risk managementDrive improvements in inventory reporting, visibility and analysis, including identification of slow-moving and excess stockOversee finance activities across APAC operationsLead, mentor and develop the finance teamProfileYou are a commercially focused finance leader who enjoys influencing outcomes and partnering with operational stakeholders.
