Atelier Ten is seeking a Senior Environmental Designer (ESD Consultant) to join its Sydney team for a 12-month fixed-term arrangement.
You'll collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to integrate sustainability principles across building, precinct and infrastructure projects, while working with environmental design specialists across Australia and the wider global business.What you'll doLead large and complex sustainable building projectsManage client relationships, work plans, budgets and junior team contributionsShape sustainability strategies and facilitate design workshopsScope and oversee daylight, energy and thermal comfort analysisSupport projects through Green Star, WELL, NABERS, Living Building Challenge and other certification frameworksMentor team members and help build local technical capabilityContribute to proposals, client engagement and industry thought leadershipWhat you'll bringA degree in engineering, architecture, building science or a related disciplineAt least 8 years of professional ESD experience,



including five or more years managing projectsAustralian sustainability consulting experienceExperience leading projects to successful Green Star ratingsStrong technical, project management and stakeholder communication skillsAppropriate Australian working rightsExperience with tools or credentials such as Green Star, LEED, WELL, ILFI, NABERS, Passivhaus, Ladybug Tools or IES VE will be highly regarded.Why join Atelier Ten?
