We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team at Big Watermelon.
This is a full-time position based in Wantirna South, VIC.What you'll be doingPrepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and seasonal menusEnsure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentationManage kitchen station operations and maintain cleanliness and organisation of your assigned areasMonitor food costs and portion control to support profitabilityMaintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulationsAssist in menu development and contribute creative ideas for current dishesReceive and inspect deliveries of fresh produce and ingredientsMaintain all kitchen equipment in good working condition and report maintenance issuesWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a hospitality environmentStrong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods,
