This is your opportunity to join a growing team of collections specialists, shape the culture and be part of a business going through significant transformation.The RoleAs a Collections Specialist you'll work closely with customers to manage outstanding accounts, set up payment solutions and provide support during financial difficulty.This is not a traditional "hard collections" role - it's about working with customers to find the right outcome, in an essential service industry where empathy and compliance are key.Managing a mix of inbound and outbound collections callsSetting up payment plans and taking paymentsSupporting customers experiencing financial hardshipExplaining assistance programs and available support optionsHandling a variety of accounts - from small balances to large debtsNavigating compliance requirements and regulated processesMaintaining accurate notes and customer recordsIdentifying issues and escalating where requiredWhat we're looking forPrevious collections experience (minimum 6 months required)Strong communication skills with a confident and professional phone mannerAbility to handle sensitive conversations with empathy and careStrong written skills for notes and customer communicationAttention to detail and ability to follow structured processesCommercial awareness and ability to prioritise accounts effectivelyA proactive mindset - able to think, ask questions and suggest solutionsEnergy industry experience is desirable, not essential - full training providedShifts & Salary$65,000 - $75,000 + Super (depending on experience)Monday-Friday rotating roster between 7:30am - 6:00pm to support customers across Australia37.5 hours per week.
