This is a rewarding, people-focused role helping essential workers and their families relocate, settle and build a life in the Riverina.
From finding housing, childcare and schools to helping people discover local groups, services and employment opportunities, you'll be the person who helps turn an unfamiliar town into a community they can call home.Key responsibilitiesProvide one-on-one support to essential workers and their families before and after they arriveHelp newcomers navigate housing, childcare, schools, partner employment and local servicesConnect people with community groups, activities,



events and networksSupport internationally recruited workers and their families to navigate local services and systemsWork with employers to help new staff settle successfullyBuild strong relationships with councils, employers, community organisations and service providersIdentify local workforce challenges and help develop practical solutionsOrganise and support local welcome and connection activitiesCapture feedback, identify emerging issues and contribute to program reporting and improvementAbout youBuild rapport and trusted relationships easilyHave solid connections within your local communityAre empathetic, practical and a creative problem-solverAre confident talking with people from a wide range of backgroundsAre organised and comfortable juggling competing prioritiesCan work independently while contributing to a supportive small teamCommunicate clearly, both in person and in writingAre comfortable using technology including Microsoft 365, Outlook and CRM systemsMust live in or near Temora, West Wyalong or CootamundraCurrent driver's licence and access to a vehicle are requiredAbout usRegional Development Australia - Riverina (RDA Riverina) is a small, supportive team doing work that has a direct impact on regional communities.
