As a Landfill/Transfer Station Attendant, you'll help customers dispose of waste safely and correctly while supporting the day-to-day operation of Council's waste facilities.Key responsibilitiesAssess incoming waste loads and direct customers to the correct disposal or recycling areaOperate the weighbridge, tablets and waste recording systemsProcess customer payments and issue receiptsProvide advice on the correct disposal and recycling of waste materialsAssist with general site operations and housekeeping dutiesHelp maintain a safe environment for staff, contractors and visitorsWhat we're looking forGood communication and customer service skillsA practical,
