We provide over 30,000 Tonnes of seafood annually to leading foodservice operators and major supermarkets.We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our busy team in Canning Valeon Full Time employment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate fish processing machinery such as packing/cutting machines.Set up machines at the beginning of each shift and conduct basic pre-start checks.Monitor machine performance to maintain product quality and output.Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with company specifications and hygiene standards.Report faults or breakdowns to maintenance or supervisors promptly.Adhere to all food safety, hygiene,



and workplace health & safety requirements.Assist with manual handling tasks, such as loading raw materials or packing finished products.Maintain accurate production and quality records.Previous experience in a similar role in Fresh Food Processing environment.Ability to work in a wet cold environment with seafood.Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food hygiene standards.Ability to communicate in English.Full, permanent work rights in AustraliaFlexible hands-on work attitude and a positive level of physical fitnessSound understanding of all WH&S; ProtocolsAbility to work well in a team environmentPlease note: External recruitment agencies – unsolicited resumes will not be accepted, and no fees will be paid.
