An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed Learning Enhancement Assistant to join our College community on a full time, fixed term basis for the **** College year.
Reporting to the Head of Learning Enhancement, the Learning Enhancement Assistant will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs to flourish academically, socially and emotionally, across Years 7 to 12.
Working alongside classroom teachers, the Learning Enhancement Assistant will help create inclusive and engaging learning environments that balance challenge with support.
To be successful in this prospect you will require:
Qualifications in Education Support or equivalent
Outstanding presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organisational and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with a range of stakeholders including students, staff and parents
Initiative, reliability and a genuine commitment to inclusive education
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
Previous experience in a similar role (highly regarded but not essential)
Current Victorian Working with Children Check
