all under one roof and one point of accountability.The RoleWe are looking for a Substation Commissioning Lead to join our team in South Brisbane.
You will lead pre-commissioning and commissioning across multiple HV grid connection projects, working with our SCADA and Engineering teams, clients and subcontractors to energise new assets safely.ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning and energisation across multiple projects, working through internal staff and external contractorsDevelop commissioning, outage and secondary works programs and ITPs that meet the requirements of clients, AEMO and NSPsReview primary and secondary designs for large-scale HV projects and provide technical guidance from concept through detailed designWork with the SCADA team to integrate protection and SCADA control systemsSupport and oversee Hold Point testing, enablement and reportingInvestigate outages, coordinate corrective actions and lead the close-out of commissioning issuesManage external testing contracts and the interfaces between recent works and the operating networkPrepare commissioning estimates and cost forecasts and support tender submissionsBuild strong relationships with clients,



subcontractors and partners to achieve smooth handover to the operating networkLead WHS obligations and make sure all works meet legislative and client requirementsAbout YouBachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 5 years as a commissioning engineer, including leading substation primary plant and secondary systems commissioningExperience leading multi-discipline HV grid connection projects across design, build and commissioningKnowledge of network primary plant, communications, protection and metering & controlKnowledge of HV substation safety requirements and the relevant acts, regulations and codes of practiceA strong HSEQ focus and a record of delivering commercial performance and client satisfactionStrong stakeholder management, negotiating and influencing skills at all levelsProficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office SuiteCurrent C Class driver's licence and Construction White CardWhy Join EPEC Group?
