2:1 FIFO Roster | Permanent Position | ASAP Start | WA-Based Mining & Infrastructure Construction ProjectAn exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Civil Project Engineer to join a major infrastructure construction project in Western Australia.
This is a hands-on site delivery role focused on the successful execution of civil and concrete works, supporting the construction of critical export infrastructure.This role is ideal for a Project Engineer who enjoys being in the field, driving outcomes, managing subcontractors, and solving problems on site.
The focus is on project delivery and construction execution, not design engineering.About the RoleReporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of key work packages and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.You will spend the majority of your time supporting site operations, coordinating contractors, managing interfaces, and driving construction progress across concrete and infrastructure works.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver civil and infrastructure construction packages from planning through to completionCoordinate and supervise subcontractors and site crewsManage reinforced concrete structures, foundations, wharf and infrastructure-related worksMonitor project budgets, schedules and productivityPrepare and manage QA/QC documentation, ITPs, inspections and project reportingManage procurement activities and subcontractor agreementsIdentify and resolve technical and construction issues on siteEnsure compliance with HSE requirements and project standardsLiaise with clients,



stakeholders and project teams to achieve successful project outcomesWhat We're Looking ForWe are seeking candidates with a strong background delivering large-scale mining, marine, defence, transport, industrial or infrastructure construction projects.Key experience includes:Civil Engineering or Construction Management qualificationProven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on major construction projectsStrong background in concrete structures, civil infrastructure and structural worksExperience managing contractors, supervisors and multidisciplinary construction teamsStrong understanding of project controls, cost management and schedulingExposure to contract administration and subcontractor managementExperience in QA/QC, commissioning support and project completion activitiesAbility to drive outcomes in a rapid-paced site environmentHighly Regarded ExperienceCandidates with experience delivering projects involving the following will be highly regarded:Reinforced and precast concrete structuresStructural steel installation and erectionMarine, port or wharf infrastructureUnderground services and utilitiesHDPE and steel piping installationIndustrial, mining and resource sector infrastructureDefence, transport or heavy civil projectsBrownfield and greenfield construction environmentsEPC, EPCM or owner-operator project delivery modelsWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary packageAdditional FIFO site uplift paid whilst on rosterFlights, accommodation and meals providedPermanent employment with long-term career opportunities2:1 FIFO roster from PerthIf you're a delivery-focused Civil Project Engineer who prefers being on site, leading construction activities and driving project outcomes rather than sitting in the office, we'd love to hear from you.
