Working as part of a large team, you'll help deliver a specialised phone-based service that supports eligible voters throughout the election period.About the projectThis service assists voters who require additional support to participate in the voting process.
The role is primarily telephone-based and requires strong communication skills, accuracy and the ability to work within established procedures.Your new roleAs a Telephone Assisted Voting Operator, you will provide professional phone-based support to members of the community and assist with the delivery of election services.
Handling inbound telephone enquiries
Providing clear and accurate information
Following detailed procedures and operational guidelines
Updating and maintaining information within computer systems
Escalating complex matters when required
Maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism
Delivering exceptional customer service in every interaction




What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong verbal communication skills
Previous customer service experience
Confidence using computers and learning new systems
Excellent attention to detail
The ability to follow processes accurately
Strong problem-solving skills
A reliable and professional approach to work
Availability to work rostered shifts throughout the election period
