About the role
A skilled and innovative Diesel Fitter joining a multi-skilled and proactive transport maintenance team at Isis Central Sugar Mill.
The role involves conducting trailer maintenance on the Mill's fleet of cane bin trailers, servicing equipment, and attending to mechanical repairs in compliance with NHVR standards and requirements.
Key responsibilities
Conduct trailer maintenance on ICSt's fleet of cane bin trailers to comply with NHVR standards and requirements
Trailer servicing such as greasing brake adjustments and brake component inspections and other trailer mechanical repairs
Conduct routine trailer services and equipment inspections and repairs in accordance with NHVR standards and requirements




Attend roadside callouts with a fully maintained service vehicle attending to trailer issues independently assess equipment and diagnose faults and be able to repair during the crushing season
About you
Trade qualifications in Diesel Fitting
Experience in Heavy Diesel Fitting environments advantageous
Experience with NHVR Truck and Trailer Compliance experience advantageous
Safety First attitude and a commitment to quality
