POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and friendly casual receptionist to join our dynamic team.
This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication and computer skills, a professional manner, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and smooth experience.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
Answer phone calls and manage email correspondence in a skilled and timely manner.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our booking system.
Process payments, issue receipts, and manage Medicare and private health fund claims.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required.
Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, filing,
and preparing documents.
Provide support to podiatrists and other team members with day-to-day operations.
Sterilisation of instruments and equipment.
Ensure the reception area is tidy and stocked with brochures and forms.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (healthcare experience preferred but not essential).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn practice management software.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
