Position
Our client is currently seeking Hatchery Assistants for their Hatchery in Mareeba. With a strong focus on team culture, safety, and fast paced environment.
The position involves working in a Poultry Hatchery with a variety of duties. Working UP TO ***** hours per week.
Starting at a rate of $***** p/h + $5 daily attendance bonus with the potential to gain more hours. Must be available for early morning starts and flexible with start times.
Schedule
Shifts are Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri starting from 6am

Requirements
Must have your own transport and driver's licence
Residing in MAREEBA OR Suburbs around NOT cairns
Must NOT own or have any birds, chickens, or pigs at your residence
Be fit and healthy
Great numeracy skills
Enjoy working in a fast passed environment
Be flexible and available for various shifts
Have Birth certificate or passport
Must be residing in Mareeba, Locals encouraged to apply!
Duties
Counting hatched chicks
Sorting eggs and stock rotation
Cleaning transporter baskets
Heavy lifting may be involved
General site cleaning
Operating a gurney
