Fettlers Hall is launching in November in an iconic park-side location in Elsternwick. We're seeking an experienced, hands‐on Venue Manager to lead the day‐to‐day operations of Fettlers Hall and help make our November launch a success. You'll play a key role in preparing the venue for opening, building and training the team, establishing service standards and ensuring the venue operates smoothly from day one.
Key responsibilities
Oversee venue preparations and operational readiness for the November launch
Manage day‐to‐day venue operations and deliver exceptional service
Recruit, lead, train and develop the hospitality team
Manage staff rostering, labour costs and shift planning
Coordinate functions, events and service operations
Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and safety
Oversee stock control, ordering and operational costs
Create a positive team culture and lead by example
Ensure compliance with RSA requirements, workplace health and safety and relevant regulations
Work closely with ownership and management to establish and grow the business
About you
Previous experience in venue management or a similar hospitality leadership role
Strong leadership,



communication and organisational skills
Experience managing teams and busy hospitality operations
A hands‐on, proactive approach and the ability to perform under pressure
Excellent customer service and problem‐solving skills
Current Victorian RSA certification, as required for the role
Availability for evenings, weekends and the venue opening period
