The Company:
An Australian healthcare business operating within the smoking cessation category, with a focus on pharmacy education.
As the business grows, they are seeking an experienced pharmacy sales professional to develop their Queensland territory and contribute to the broader commercial operation.
The Role:
Based in Brisbane, you will grow existing pharmacy accounts, identify new business opportunities and deliver product education to pharmacists and pharmacy teams.
Alongside customer-facing sales, you will spend time working with the office and senior leadership team on territory strategy, sales processes and commercial projects.
This offers an experienced representative the opportunity to bring ideas into the business and help put them into practice.
There is also scope to support the onboarding and development of new representatives, with potential for formal management responsibilities as the team expands.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage and grow existing pharmacy relationships across the territory
Identify, secure and develop new pharmacy accounts
Deliver engaging product education to pharmacists and pharmacy teams
Develop and implement territory plans to achieve commercial targets
Identify opportunities to grow accounts through education and tailored customer support
Share customer insights to inform marketing activity and commercial decisions
Contribute to sales processes, reporting and team coordination
Work with inside sales support to coordinate follow-up activity and administration
Support the onboarding and coaching of new team members as required
Your Skills & Experience:
Demonstrated sales success within pharmacy, pharmaceuticals, medical devices or consumer healthcare
Strong understanding of the pharmacy channel and customer needs
Experience developing territory plans and driving account growth
Confidence translating technical information into clear, practical education
Previous team leadership, coaching or mentoring experience
Strong ability to educate and translate complex scientific language to consumers
Commercial judgement and confidence handling customer objections
Initiative and the ability to develop and implement your own approach
Comfortable working in a smaller business with evolving processes
Interest in combining hands-on sales with broader commercial responsibilities
Brisbane-based, with a current driver's licence
