We are a well-established CNC machining company seeking a motivated and detail-focused Quality Control Inspector to join our team.
This role is critical to ensuring the quality of precision-machined components supplied to our customers across a range of industries. Working closely with our machinists and production team, you will be responsible for inspecting components, maintaining quality records, and helping drive continuous improvement throughout the workshop.

We are a well-established CNC machining company seeking a motivated and detail-focused Quality Control Inspector to join our team.
This role is critical to ensuring the quality of precision-machined components supplied to our customers across a range of industries. Working closely with our machinists and production team, you will be responsible for inspecting components, maintaining quality records, and helping drive continuous improvement throughout the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
First-off, in-process and final inspection
Programming and operating a ZEISS CMM using CALYPSO
Interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T;
First Article Inspection and ballooned inspection reports
Managing NCRs, corrective actions and root-cause investigations




Monitoring and maintaining our ISO **** Quality Management System
Preparing for and assisting with ISO audits
Conducting internal audits
Reviewing procedures and suggesting practical QMS improvements
Material, batch, revision and subcontract process traceability
Calibration and inspection equipment controlReviewing material and subcontractor certificates
Supporting machinists with measurement and quality issues
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in manufacturing, machining, engineering, or quality control
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
AS****, defence or aerospace manufacturing would be highly regarded.
Desirable
Experience in a CNC machining environment
Knowledge of ISO **** quality systems
Experience with CMM inspection equipment
Trade qualification in Engineering or related field
