We are seeking an experienced
Allied Health Receptionist
to join the team at Platinum Physiotherapy on a
part-time basis
. This is a key front-line position located in our West Gosford clinic, where you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming first impression for our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our reception services. As the initial point of contact, you will play a vital role in our patient experience and contribute significantly to the efficiency of our allied health practice.
What you'll be doing
Greeting patients in a professional and friendly manner and ensuring they feel welcomed upon arrival
Answering and directing phone enquiries to appropriate staff members
Processing patient registrations and maintaining accurate patient records
Collecting patient payments and processing invoices in accordance with clinic procedures
Coordinating insurance claims and managing patient billing queries
Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
Supporting the clinical team with patient flow and room preparation as required
Providing information to patients regarding treatment options, fees, and clinic policies
What we're looking for
Proven experience working as a receptionist in a medical, physiotherapy, or allied health environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and courteous manner
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Proficiency in using reception software, appointment booking systems, and general computer applications




Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data protection
Customer service excellence with a genuine passion for providing support to patients
Flexibility and adaptability to changing clinic needs
Familiarity with healthcare administration practices and procedures is advantageous
Basic knowledge of health insurance and claims processing is preferred
